Calling every customer to confirm a booking takes hours, and many calls go unanswered. A reminder they can answer in seconds, at a time that suits them, gets far more responses and frees the slot for someone else when they can't come.
Fewer no-shows, without the phone calls
everymessage sends automated appointment reminders by SMS, WhatsApp, RCS, email or AI voice call, and lets customers confirm, cancel or rearrange with a text reply, a tap on a button or a short conversation. Replies are matched to the appointment and can update your booking system automatically, so your team only deals with the exceptions.
How it works
- Connect your diary or booking system, or upload appointments from a file.
- Reminders go out automatically, for example two days and two hours before, on the channel each customer prefers.
- Customers reply "YES" to confirm or "NO" to cancel, tap a button in an RCS or WhatsApp message, or speak to an AI voice assistant that can book, confirm and rearrange appointments.
- Your systems update. Replies are sent to your booking system, trigger a follow-up such as offering a new time, or land in your team's inbox.
- Send a confirmation straight away, so the customer knows the change has been made.

Frequently asked questions
Can customers reply to a reminder?
Yes, when the reminder is sent from a mobile number. Replies come back to your inbox, trigger automated workflows or are sent to your systems by webhook. Reminders sent from a name, rather than a number, can’t receive replies.
Do we need consent to send appointment reminders?
Service messages such as appointment reminders are treated differently from marketing under PECR, so they don’t need the same marketing consent. You should still make it easy for customers to opt out.
Can reminders be sent from our own name?
Yes. You can send from your organisation’s name for one-way reminders, or from a dedicated number when you want customers to reply.
