What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that a website stores in your browser. Some are needed for a site to work. Others, such as analytics cookies, help the site owner understand how the site is used. Under UK law (the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations, PECR), we must ask for your consent before setting any cookie that is not strictly necessary.
Cookies we use
This list comes from a scan of the site carried out on 10 October 2026. We don’t use advertising or marketing cookies.

If you are a member of our staff signing in to manage the website, WordPress also sets login cookies (such as wordpress_logged_in_… and wordpress_test_cookie). These are strictly necessary and are not set for visitors.
How we ask for consent
When you first visit, a banner lets you Accept All, Reject All or choose by category in Cookie Settings. Until you accept analytics cookies, Google Analytics cookies are not set.
We use Google Consent Mode. Before you consent, Google may still receive limited, cookie-free signals about page visits (such as the page viewed and the type of browser), which it uses to estimate overall traffic. No cookies are stored and you are not identified.
Changing your choice
- Use the Manage consent button at the bottom of any page, or this link: Cookie Settings
- Delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop the cookie banner remembering your choice.
- Opt out of Google Analytics on all websites with Google’s browser add-on.
Google Analytics
Google Analytics is provided by Google. If you accept analytics cookies, information about your use of the site is sent to Google. You can read how Google uses information from sites that use its services and Google’s privacy policy.
